ANNOUNCEMENTS

Kenneth M. Brinkhous Young Investigator Prize in Thrombosis

This award, sponsored by the Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB) of the American Heart Association (AHA), recognizes outstanding endeavors by new investigators in fundamental and applied research in Thrombosis, including the mechanism, detection, treatment, and prevention of thrombotic disorders.

Applicants must be an AHA member. Applicants must be early-career (post-doctoral associated, fellows, or pre-tenured junior faculty).

Applicants must submit an abstract describing new, unpublished work in the field of thrombosis to the ATVB|PVD 2018 meeting (now called Vascular Discovery), and a single manuscript, either unpublished or accepted for publication after January 1, 2017, is required as part of the application.
